Faux Wax Seal

1. Cut out the shape you want for your seal. Using a punch is easiest.

2. Use the negative of the cutout to cover the VersaMark pad. This will allow your pad to only have the shape you desire exposed.

3. Ink your cardstock by pressing onto the partially covered VersaMark.

4. Emboss shap with your desired metallic embossing powder 4 times. Copper embossing powder was used in this example.

5. Quickly stamp your image into the warm melted embossing medium. If you mess up at this point. You can re-melt your 'embossed puddle' and try again. If you re-melt, you might add one more layer of powder.

6. Use the punch to cut out your finished shape. This is best done while the medium is still slightly warm as well.

If you use this technique, let me know...send me a picture...and I'll post it here.

Here is a picture of the finished product...oops...before I cut it out the final time. You get the idea though.
